Matthew Albert, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Dr. Albert is a member of the elite colon and rectal surgery team at AdventHealth Medical Group, which he joined in July 2004. His specialties include laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the colon and rectum, screening and therapeutic colonoscopy, surgery for colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders, the treatment of anorectal disease, and stomas and hernia issues. Dr. Albert's wide range of colon and rectal surgical services includes the revolutionary technique known as TAMIS (transanal minimally invasive surgery), which he helped invent.

Jeremy Drake, MD

Jeremy M. Drake, MD, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon, who is fellowship trained in robotic surgery for colon and rectal cancer. He is particularly interested in the screening and treatment of colon and rectal cancers, pelvic floor disorders and benign anorectal diseases, including best practices for management of hemorrhoids and fistula.

Daniel Galante, DO, MS

Daniel Galante, DO, MS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon. His areas of expertise include the use of minimally invasive technologies in colon and rectal cancer treatment, including TAMIS, robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He specializes in the surgical treatment of both Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and is proficient treating all common anorectal diseases including hemorrhoids, fistulas and perianal abscesses.

Justin Kelly, MD, FRCS

Justin Kelly, MD, FRCS, is a fellowship-trained colon and rectal surgeon with AdventHealth Medical Group's elite colorectal surgery team in Central Florida. His areas of expertise include the use of minimally invasive technologies in colon and rectal cancer treatment, including TAMIS and laparoscopic surgery. He specializes in the surgical treatment of both Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and is proficient in treating all common anorectal diseases including hemorrhoids, fistulas and rectal bleeding.

Jonathan Lucking, MD

Fellowship-Trained Colon & Rectal Surgeon

Jonathan R. Lucking, MD, joined AdventHealth Medical Group in Central Florida from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he completed a rigorous colorectal surgery fellowship. He undertook his general surgery residency training at Rush University in Chicago, where he was named Trauma Resident of the Year for 2018. Dr. Lucking provides expert patient evaluations and care as part of our medical group’s elite colorectal surgery practice based at AdventHealth Orlando.

John R.T. Monson, MD, FRCS (Ire, Eng, Ed (Hon), Glas (Hon)), FASCRS, FACS

Dr. Monson is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon, fellowship trained in surgical oncology, vascular surgery and colon and rectal surgery. His areas of expertise include the use of minimally invasive technologies in colorectal cancer treatment, including Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMS) laparoscopy and robotic surgery.

George Nassif, Jr., DO, FACS, FASCRS

George Nassif, Jr., DO, FACS, FASCRS is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with special training in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. His many areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, pelvic 3-D endorectal ultrasound, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), single-incision laparoscopic surgery, colonoscopy for both screening and treatment, colorectal cancer surgery, pelvic floor disorders, stomas and hernia issues.

Bruce A. Orkin, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Bruce A. Orkin, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colorectal surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, and performed his general surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He went on to complete fellowships in gastrointestinal research at the Mayo Clinic and in colon and rectal surgery at The Cleveland Clinic.

Mark Soliman, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Mark Soliman, MD, FACS, FASCRS is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon. He is the Program Medical Director of Colorectal Surgery for the AdventHealth Digestive Health and Surgery Institute and the Department Chairman for Colorectal Surgery. Dr. Soliman is one of the most recognized colorectal surgeons nationwide in robotic colorectal surgical operations and has written nearly 50 book chapters, scientific abstracts, and manuscripts on this and its related fields. He is proficient in the Arabic language.
